Begin with a two hour therapy ball workshop using the Yoga Tune Up® method to RELEASE pain, RELIEVE tension, and RESTORE ease in the body. TAKE HOME TWO tension-releasing Therapy Balls and the skills to use them for DIY self-care. Suitable for any level of fitness- no experience required! Then, learn how a healthy, plant-based diet is a wonderful complement to any exercise routine with a two hour cooking demonstration and sampling of the chef’s delicious creations. ABOUT THE CHEF:
Chef Mark Zedella, “The Duke of Fork”, is a natural foods chef and cooking instructor specializing in health-supportive, plant-based cuisine. He is a graduate of the International Academy of Natural Cookery in Boulder, Colorado, earned a Certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from the T. Colin Campbell Foundation, and completed the Plant-Based Professional Certification program with the Rouxbe Cooking School. Chef Mark is focused on transforming lives through food, advocating for changes and improvements in the food system all the way from seed to plate. His motto is “Cook Well, Eat Well, Be Well.”
ABOUT THE MOBILITY/YOGA TEACHER:
Loretta Zedella is an experienced yoga teacher and a certified Yoga Tune Up® instructor with over thirteen years of yoga teaching experience. She has been teaching yoga since 2002 and teaching at Ohio Wesleyan University and Dublin Recreation Center since 2004. She is respected by students throughout the area for her practical yet light-hearted teaching methods. Loretta specializes in using yoga therapy balls and therapeutic movement to help us each reveal ease of body and peace of mind. She has shared these workshops with thousands of people at many varied locations including Franklin Park Conservatory, Dawes Arboretum and many yoga studios.
